Description

A small bag for slightly-more-than-minimalist carry with a host of carry options.

Compact Design: A compact design that won't get in your way. Zippered pocket, low-profile front zipper, and detachable carry straps.

Phone/Wallet/Keys, Plus A Bit More: Easily fits your phone, wallet, keys, as well as sunglasses, small lotion bottles, and pens. Can also fit slightly larger items like a small journal, A5 notebook, a mass-media paperback novel, or an iPad Mini/eReader.

Organization When You Need It: A total of 6 open-top pockets of various sizes as well as a divider mean you've got plenty of options to keep your things organized, and if you need a little bit of extra or modular organization, there are 4 o-rings to connect pouches to in the main compartment. In addition, the front pocket has another o-ring that comes standard with a removeable key strap.

Multiple Carry Options: Comes standard with a shoulder strap, but can be equipped with a hip belt as well for sling or hip carry.

1" Shoulder Strap
A simple and light-duty shoulder strap made of 1" nylon webbing. It is adjustable and has plastic snaphooks at each end. It does not have a pad.

8" Snaphook/Snaphook Key Strap
As with most of our bags, we've included a key strap. 8" long from tip-to-tip, a snaphook on either end. Good for attaching your keys to.

A Set of Black Zipper Pulls
A set of pulls to extend or replace your metal pulls.

Perfect EDC size
This bag is perfect for my everyday carry. Small thick wallet, small set of keys, and iPhone XR fit along with my two pens, larger Moleskine, small first aid kit, and a Cubelet with basics (lip balm, mints, etc). The kicker is that I can pop a small 18oz water bottle sideways on top of the other items and still comfortably zip the Side Kick closed. I bought the bag planning to use it for days I didn’t need a water bottle and was pleasantly surprised to see how well it fit. The color combo (Constellation ballistic/Solaris halcyon) is sunny and happy. Love this bag.

My favorite everyday and travel bag!
The perfect bag for carrying everyday or as a travel/tourist bag. It can easily go from hiking trails to dinner/museums/etc. or even hang from an airplane seatback to hold your in-flight items. The small loops on the exterior allow for attaching a TB Gatekeeper waist strap, to turn this into a belt bag or sling, or piggy-back it on your backpack or other bags. Amazingly versatile!
Has a slim profile when normally packed but also expands to hold much more than expected. The shoulder/crossbody strap is the most comfortable of any small bag I've carried. It feels great- sturdy yet lightweight, adjusts easily, and does not tangle. Just an awesome bag all around.

-Excellent organization inside with well thought-out pockets. I appreciate the quality contrasting trim on the pockets, making it easy to see pocket size/location and adding to long term durability.
-The pink item is an A5 size journal, for reference. It fits easily in the larger interior slip pocket as well as the exterior zip pocket. (photo also shows a TB size medium Double Organizer Pouch inside)
-The larger purple pouch is a very full TB Vertical Packing Cubelet. Lots of room left for other items
-Full size camera fits inside (with lens and large shoulder strap) with room left for small purse items
-Shown with TB swivel carabiners (ready to hang from airplane seatback), holding an iPad Pro 11" (does not zip with that iPad inside, but works well for in-flight access)

Literally always at my side
I've had my Side Kick in Black Ballistic for a few years now, and it looks like it did the day I bought it. Perfect condition. It's my daily bag, and I travel with it. I carry it in all three intended configurations - shoulder/cross body bag as a purse, as a sling pack on my back, and as a waist pack. Adding the waist strap is definitely worth it. It's perfect for carrying on a bike as a sling pack or waist pack. I use it that way for quick errands on my bike and on overnight bike camping trips. If I'm carrying my backpack to work with my laptop, I throw my Side Kick into my bag as extra organization. I specifically got the Side Kick rather than the Side Effect because it fits my A5 notebook perfectly with a little wiggle room. It also fits a half-liter Nalgene water bottle.

Perfect Size, amazing features
I spent about 2 months trying to figure out how to carry around my prescription sunglasses. I knew I should take the opportunity to expand my edc capacity beyond my pockets, but I also knew (from long experience) that a full-sized bag wasn't going to get carried. Enter the Side Kick! Full of pockets, which means I can find my stuff by touch, easy access zippers mean I can open and close the bag ONE-HANDED while walking. Goldielocks size means it carries all I need, but I'm happy to grab it any time I leave the house. In a word, HORRAY!

I Wanted a Tech Organizer. I Wanted a Shoulder Bag. I Got Both
I travel a LOT and I like to travel light. I wanted a mid sized tech organizer but I also like to carry a shoulder bag while touring. The Sidekick is BOTH! Love the organization for a pretty comprehensive tech kit and it makes a great shoulder bag for my destination. Win win.
