    It's ok

    It's a bit of a disappointment. I was told that this was going to fit my Synik 26. When I got it, it was a little bigger than the bag pocket.

    I reached out to customer service and they told me that the slip was not designed for the Synik 26 as this was a newer bag model.

    So, it kinda fits if you wedge it in there. It's good quality for what it's worth. I just feel a little let down that this really isn't a good fit for the bag. So they have my money and I have an item that sits unused in a closet. It's a business, I get it.

    Hi John,

    Thanks for the honest review, and I'm sorry for the miscommunication about the size of Slip for the Synik 26. We did initially recommend the Synik 30/Synapse 25 size, but it is indeed a little too big. We'll recommend the smaller one for the S19 and S22 from now on.

    For you, though, I want to get that one back and get you the right size. I'll reach out directly via email and set that up. =)

    I don't know why, but the Freudian Slip gives me confidence. It's so strange. I am a Tom Bihn neophyte, just a few months in, and I am obsessed. The Freudian Slip is this perfect organizational, reimagined suitcase-type deal that makes me excited to use even when there's no need. This is also essential if you have a backpack.

    Fantastic Organizing Tool for Medium Cafe Bag!

    I purchased this to use with a Medium Cafe Bag (also reviewed here). I’m an avid reader, writer, photographer and cat sitter who is often on the road getting to and from appointments, as well as traveling to scenic and quirky places where I live to capture the beauty and interesting characters on the streets. I also own a larger Bihn cafe bag with a sleeve inside that is large enough to carry a laptop and protect it, but I wanted something a little smaller for day to day work and play. The Medium Cafe Bag is perfect, and the Freudian Slip enables me to make efficient use of the entire space inside the Medium Cafe Bag. I use the “Slip” to carry a sweet little powerhouse camera that allows me to juice up my pictures when my phone camera is not enough. I can also carry field notebooks, pens, pencils of all kinds as well as personal medications, snacks, etc which I place in zip lock bags and zip in the zippered parts of the “Slip” and Cafe Bag. The “Slip” is easily removed when I want to lighten the bag for regular daily use. The versatility this design arrangement provides is extraordinary! I bought this for myself, but it would make a great gift for a friend or loved one.

    Pricey, but worth it. I prize quality built to last, then inexpensive stuff. Instead digging out my stuff, I just pull out the insert and find out quickly.

    Sweet organization for plein air and nature journaling

    I recently decided to make myself a bug out bag sketch kit, and ordered the Freudian Slip to go with my new Medium Cafe Bag. It was amazing at organizing the contents, so I emptied it and found it could also hold all of my loose watercolor supplies and slip easily into my plein air backpack- so I immediately ordered a second one. Wow, no more exasperated rummaging!

    Unanticipated bonus- the naked Freudian Slip (yes) has become a handy project tote for use inside the house- it's drastically reduced me forgetting "that one important thing!" that always used to derail me seconds after settling down to art.
