The main compartment of this backpack is surprisingly spacious. It can easily fit a weekend's worth of clothes in a flat packing cube, like the ones from Eagle Creek, with plenty of room to spare.
What really sets this bag apart is its excellent organizational features. The various front pockets are perfect for storing tech equipment like batteries, cables, and headsets. This allows me to keep everything compartmentalized and easily accessible without needing a separate tech pouch.
The side pockets are also quite versatile, holding my glasses case, a portable laptop battery, and earbuds. The bottom pocket is large enough for my G14's bulky charger and my Kindle. I even repurposed the water bottle pocket to hold a pair of over-ear headphones and an emergency kit. All of this can be stored without the bag looking overly bulky.
Over the past year, I've tried several other bags, including the Able Carry Daily Plus, the AER City Pack Pro 2, the AER Travel Pack 2 Small, and the Pakt Travel Backpack. This bag won out because of its unique versatility. It works perfectly as a personal item for flights, can be used alongside a roller carry-on, and still manages to hold more gear than the other bags I tested.
The laptop sleeve is my one minor critique. It's not as padded as some others on the market, so if you're someone who is a little rough with their bag, you might want to consider one with more protection. For me, however, this wasn't an issue. I do wish there were some…
