I own many Tom Bihn products and I have always been satisfied with them. Unfortunately this Tool Wrap is a complete disaster. The slots are too narrow for most pens/tools. The pens that do fit in the slots do not actually slide in if they have any rubber or silicone parts because of the fabric backing, it makes a "ripping" sound when you try to slide in. I have no idea if my Tool Wrap is "damaged" or not from this "break-in" process. The scoop front is too low which means that almost none of the pen clips will actually clip on to anything. Maybe this was designed in a time capsule for pens like a classic Bic Stic.
Struggling mightily I managed to find pens to fill out the wrap and I could not get it to snap closed easily. Mind you, these are already thin pens I chose since anything else will not fit in. I am not sure what product testing was done, but I just do not see how this even got out of the prototype stage.
The sections need to be wider, and the scoop front needs to be taller and/or a flap needs to come down from the top to secure items from falling out. Since I tried putting pens in and hear "ripping" sounds I am not sure if this qualifies or not for a return anymore. The wrap was delivered with no tag, all my other Tom Bihn products came with tags. Paying for return shipping and a $10 fee would be half the cost of the item, but I honestly cannot find a single practical use for this product.
