Not only did I get a great welcome and personal introduction from the guy handling the walk-in guests, I came out with exactly with what I didn't think I needed. I was on the way to the airport and had to fit in a stop to the Tom Bihn factory - something on my bucket list after years of ordering online. I can no longer carry backpacks and thought I'd just purchase accessories/crossbody bags. After explaining my needs, the rep also showed me a backpack that converts to a trolley sleeve to slip over my luggage handle.
The Techonaut 45 is the perfect 2nd bag to add to my carry-on rollie luggage. It fits under the seat and access during flight is easy due to the different outside pockets. Adding cubelets and stuff sacks helped immensely.
At 4'11 with mobility issues, the Techonaut 45 was just the right size for my needs. I thought to cut off the shoulder straps but there is a pocket that they can be stored into.
My wishlist is for a sack big enough to stuff my Techonaut in the event I have to check it in due to overcrowded flights.
So happy with all my purchases from Tom Bihn and seeing all the faces that represent the brand with their hands-on touch for every product was a treat. I hope to visit again when my travels bring me back to Seattle. Thanks, everyone!
