The Tom Bihn Synapse 25 is, without question, the best everyday carry bag I have ever owned! It fits everything I could possibly need for work with plenty of room to spare, and all of the compartments make it easy to keep organized. I honestly can’t wait to travel with it. The quality is unbelievable. Every detail screams durability and craftsmanship.
The comfort of this bag truly blows me away! No matter how much weight I pack, this bag hugs my back perfectly. The thick padding and supportive straps make it feel like it was designed just for me. I want to carry it everywhere.
I’m already planning my next Tom Bihn purchase!

As an owner of a Halcyon and Ballistic fabric packs, I’ve been looking forward to the Synapse 25 showing up in the new Spectron material. When it finally arrived on the store, it was an easy order for me. Received the bag and it’s nice and light as expected. Love the TB external tag in the subdued black/grey color and the subtle sheen of the new Spectron. The rest of the bags layout is easily familiar. The straps are comfy and not slick and the light colored interior is easy to spot stored items against. The bags overall fit is comfy and makes a wonderful EDC pack. Looking forward to many years of use from this new bag. First 2 photos are under inside light while the last photo is outdoors lighting as I wanted to see how shiny fabric could be in direct sunlight.

I love everything about this bag! The green is absolutely beautiful and I love the feel of the fabric. One of the things I was most excited about was all the pockets having separate volumes so they don’t steal from each other or smush together making things hard to pack. I got it for my new EDC and it works so much better than my old bag. My tech case fits perfectly in the bottom front pocket and I love that I can attach it in there with key straps. I’ve got wallet, keys, badges, headphones, and occasionally craft supplies in the front side pockets. One of them often become the junk drawer of the bag where you can find random things. The water bottle pocket fits my 32 oz hydro flask though it is snug. And then in the main compartment I fit a 16” laptop in a case, another smaller case with an iPad and kindle, a Nintendo Switch in a case, and the laptop charger. The backpack straps are extremely comfortable and one of the main reasons I went with Tom Bihn. I’ve been made into a fan with this bag and hope to use it for decades to come!

I just want to clarify how much does synapse 25 actually weigh coz on this synapse 25 product page it is listed as 900 grams with ballistic but on your snik faq page it says it is 1295 grams
TBTOM BIHN10 months agoHi Paul! Sorry for the discrepancy - I think we forgot to remove the weight of the frame sheets from the Synapse weights on the Synik FAQ. The 900g weight on the S25 page is correct. =)
