The Spiff Kit is the TB take on the ubiquitous toiletries kit. Though we suppose that a spartan few will live off the land and use whatever the hotel washroom offers up, most of us seem to prefer our unique collection of personal essentials for even the shortest of trips. For some of us that’s our favorite flavor of toothpaste or Dr. Bronner's soap (and, well, if Dr. Bronner’s is your favorite toothpaste, we're not sure what to say...); for others it's a refined collection of vitamins or cosmetics. Whatever it is, most of us have our daily deal.

    So good!

    I travel for work every month and had become tired of dealing with the hassle which was my one-cavern toiletry kit. The clamshell opening of this spiff kit is a major upgrade, coupled with its top quality construction and thoughtful organizational features.

    Review after 4-day trip

    Just got back from a trip with this + the clear organizer cube for TSA liquids and it does the job. Can hold much more than what I put in it (toothbrush, folding comb, razor handle + blade cartridge, large cleaning wipes) and I found the detachable mirror to be great for shaving in the shower. The only major gripe I have is that the wall-hanging hook can sometimes get in the way of the main pouch zipper, and once when closing the bag, the hook went into the hole of one of the outside zippers. And unlike most other small TB bags there are no O-rings or loops to attach this inside a larger bag. Otherwise I’m really happy with this and I can tell it’ll last a long time.

    4.5 stars - Love it! Would like more options for Nalgene containers

    Really feels like a well-made product. Very spiffy indeed. Like the different compartment options. The mirror's a thoughtful inclusion. Basically: love it! Only wish the Nalgene containers would come with options: either as 4 jars or 2 rectangular containers. Am not one to take tiny bits of shampoo with me, but would have liked to fit flossing picks or q-tips here.

    Yet another five-star Tom Bihn purchase

    First of all, I keep waiting for this bag to fill up, and it doesn't. There is an impressive amount of space inside this kit, and it holds nearly double (how!?) what I was previously putting inside a similarly sized silicone ziploc bag.

    Here's what I packed into it on a recent trip, and it wasn't pushing the seams *at all*: shampoo, conditioner, and vitamins in the included nalgene jars; toothpaste, full-size electric toothbrush, full-size deodorant stick; handheld electric razor; two recycled medicine bottles, one holding cotton swabs and the other floss picks; two different tubes of topical ointments, and two inhalers.

    Perfect Spiff Kit

    The Deluxe Spiff Kit is a perfect size and fits everything I need. I recently went on a trip for ten days and was able to pack more than typical. And the mini hangar really works well and stays in place when hanging the kit. If you’re on the fence, buy it.
