This is a super versatile bag with capacity for many things and types of adventures, and it can look truly flat with a minimalistic load. I have been using the Ballistic one for a couple of weeks for the beach, short trips, and work, and it has excelled in many respects. I am looking forward to trying the Spectron one. I really didn't think I would love it that much. I still love my Smart Alec 2.0, but this is versatile in different ways, and I am sure I will reach for it often. Now, I wish it had an O-Ring or two in the main compartment and larger waist straps, as the Addax 26 has.
