Full Description

Main Compartment

Small but formidable, the main compartment has one large interior pocket and two smaller pockets (the latter made from a mock-woven elastane fabric) to hold small things where you want. The rest is open space for your phone or pouches. An o-ring on the interior lies in wait for all your key strap needs.  

Exterior Belt Passthrough Pocket

On the backside of the Bantam is a passthrough pocket measuring 2.5" / 60mm tall that fits most belts. On the top and bottom of the passthrough pocket are also two equal sized, narrow pockets that can be used to carry standard pens.

Ways to Carry the Bantam

Shoulder/Crossbody Bag

We included an adjustable 5/8" Shoulder Strap, made from nylon webbing and with the same plastic clips as our Key Straps, to attach to the O-Rings on either side of the Bantam. 

Waist Pack or Sling Bag

On the sides of the bag are unobtrusive webbing loops to which you can attach an optional 1" Gatekeeper Hip Belt, using our ubiquitous Gatekeeper clips. Wear the Bantam around your waist or hips, and you've got a sweet waist pack. Wear it crossbody with the bag on your back, and you've got a mini sling bag. 

Belt Bag

Slide your belt through, and the Bantam can sit nicely on your hip, in front of you, or behind you.

Wrist Bag

Clip the Handle Loop to one of the O-rings on either side of the Bantam and carry the whole affair in hand.

Organizer Pouch

Clip one side of any of our Key Straps to the Bantam and then clip the other side to an O-ring inside one of our larger bags. That way, the Bantam stays tethered to your bag.

What's Included

5/8" Shoulder Strap

A simple and light-duty shoulder strap made of 5/8" nylon webbing. It is adjustable and has plastic snaphooks at each end. It does not have extra padding.

8" Snaphook/Snaphook Key Strap

As with most of our bags, we've included a key strap. 8" long from tip-to-tip, a snaphook on either end. Good for attaching your keys to.

    Love the size, but

    I wish the side connections were higher on the bag. Having them where they are plus the lightness of the bag means the bag is tippy. I’ve had the thing four days now, and spilled the contents four times. My search for a great small crossbody continues.

    Meh. It’s no Everyday Cubelet.

    I love the Everyday Cubelet, but wanted something just a but smaller and that was like this shape. I also love the bright yellow! My main goal was to have something to easily slide into my backpack, and the be able to use when I just needed a small bag at work. It totally fit into my TB pack, but I found a couple problems. First problem, which others mention too, is that it’s just a bit too small, can’t adequately fit a very small wallet, trim sunglasses case, phone, and small set of keys. I can get stuff in there but getting anything out is a chore. Second problem is, if you haven't zipped it up, its structure is sort of precarious and it often just flips over and dumps everything out. This happens even when I’ve got only a wallet, phone and keys in there. I’m gonna sell mine and just use the everyday day cubelet

    Perfect

    I was looking for a small bag that could carry my phone, small wallet and two sets of keys. This perfectly fits the bill. The only thing that I could think would improve it would be one extra zippered pocket either inside or outside. But that's a minor one, not enough enough to cost even 1/2 a star.

    Love my “fancy” bag

    Love this bag! I’m a vegan and don’t buy leather. The only problem is I never have a nice going out purse. This fits the bill perfectly. It fits my dressier esthetic without having to compromise my beliefs. Well done Tom Bihn!
