6/28/22 Debut & Restock: Introducing the Bummer

Our next debut & restock is Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 7am PDT.

We are super excited to announce that we are adding a new bag to the TOM BIHN collection...everyone, meet the Bummer!

As the name implies, you can wear it a bum bag...

Or shift it to the front or side...

Or sling it over your shoulder!

First came the Le Grand Derriere, then the Le Petit Derriere, and now the Bummer will be the smallest in the family of waist packs. But small is all relative, we've tested the Bummer out in real life — trails, city, and everything in between — and we're loving the capacity and versatility! A few of us may already be using this as our go-to dog walking pack.

We will also be restocking the following!

Are there any photos of the Bummer being worn as a sling in the front of the body? I’m wondering if it might lay different across the chest than the Side Effect.

Incredibly excited about this restock!! One question – last time the Daylight in Night Walk sold out in something like 7 minutes. I plan to do my best to snag one, but will there be more inventory available for this restock than the last time? I think many people were disappointed and unable to get one, and the stakes certainly feel higher if this is likely the final batch of Daylight backpacks in Night Walk.

Hi Rita! We were definitely surprised by the last restock as well, did not expect Night Walk to sell out so quickly. We did the best we can to maximize the size of the batch with the remaining Halcyon we have. This batch is (almost) double the last one.

Curious about how comfortable this would be while wearing a backpack (S30)… When it’s heavy I hate slinging it around to grab something, but wearing a little shoulder bag with a backpack is awkward and tangly.

We recently tried out Bummer + S22 on a trip. Felt quite balanced with the Bummer as a waist pack worn in the front.
