Description

The Paramour backpack blends everyday functionality with a clean, modern design, ideal for carrying essentials from work to weekend. With a 3D front pocket, a spacious main compartment, a padded laptop pocket, and multiple organizational features, it’s crafted to keep you prepared wherever you go.

3D Front Pocket: This 9.5" x 13" x 3" / 240mm x 330mm x 75mm pocket has a two dividers that vertically section this pocket into 3 distinct sections! The middle section has a grommet in the bottom to drain any little spill that might happen with your water bottle.

Edgeless EV50 1/2" Shoulder Strap: A bigger bag means bigger straps. Like the Paragon (and unlike the Paradigm), this comes with the innovative Edgeless straps first pioneered on our Syniks. Soft and conforming, no matter how much you put in your Paramour these straps won't ever let you down, run around, or desert you.

Smooth Back Panel: Like the Paragon, this features a smooth back panel in the same material and color as the exterior color chosen for the rest of the bag with a comfy closed-cell foam back panel.

Padded Device Pocket: It's an open-top, minimalist design made with the same foam laminate that lines our Caches. Fits the 16" Macbook Pro, Dell XPS 17", and anything smaller than those.

Grab Handle: A simple webbing grab handle for hoisting your bag to your shoulders, hanging it on a hook, or carry it around the room. Simple, strong, and a constant friend.

Paramour (Burnt Orange Ballistic/Northwest Sky 200 Halcyon)
Since being issued a work laptop near the onset of the pandemic, I have been using a Tom Bihn Synapse 19 backpack with a 13” Cache for the laptop. While a tight fit for some of the other things that get stuffed into it, it worked just fine until (of course) I wound up trading my 13” work laptop for a 15” work laptop. A 13” Cache worked fine, but the bag was not big enough to comfortably hold a 15” Cache and laptop. So I used this as an excuse to buy this new bag. It works just fine so far. The built-in device pocket is just the right size for the new laptop. The three-part front compartment works great for a water bottle and other accessories (my trackball/mouse, the case for my glasses, etc.), and the larger back compartment comfortably holds my lunch along with pads of paper and other materials that need to get moved back and forth between my office-office and my home-office. I also use a Double Organizer Pouch clipped inside to hold smaller items like my work badge and pens and pencils (that formerly had a space in the smaller front/side compartments on the Synapse 19). Lastly, I chose the only available exterior color at the time that wasn’t black; it looked decent enough in the website pictures, but it actually is brighter and more attractive in person. So far, I’m extremely happy with my purchase!

I own a ton of Tom Bihn bags and all of them are extremely high-quality. Customer service has been exceptional on several occasions. Perfect Second Bag
I have owned the Synapse 25 for about 9 years. I also had the diaper bag. They are both amazing products. I needed a smaller backpack and figured I'd try the Paramour based on the reviews online. It's a simple design and very well made as usual. No surprise that I'm a big fan of this bag as well.

Paramour is just what I needed!
I have paralysis in both my arms and I have been struggling to find a bag light enough for me to carry and big enough for a weekend trip. Paramour is the perfect answer! I find the main compartment to be quite roomy and the divided pockets are the perfect size for organization!
