Full Description

Large Open-Top Main Compartment

The main compartment of the Original Small Shop Bag can fit a lot! It's perfect for your farmer's market haul, to-go lunch, books, or folded up clothing.

The inside of the Original Small Shop Bag has two deep, open-top pockets you can use for items like wine or water bottles. When not in use, you can fold the entire bag into one of these pockets (see video here) if you want to save space, or store it inside your larger bag until you need it.

There are 2 O-rings in the interior of the Shop Bag. On one of the O-rings is a Key Strap and the other is unoccupied so that you can clip on a pouch, if you want.

Piping on the Seams

We've piped the seams with the same stiff plastic material used on hat brims. This piping gives the Shop Bag just enough structure to stand up while you're filling it.

PORON® Foam-Padded Handles

In addition to its good looks and organization, you'll notice that the Original Small Shop Bag's PORON®-padded handles make it comfortable to carry, even when it's quite heavy. Designed to be an ideal length that will allow most people to carry the bag in their hand or wear it over their shoulder, these handles successfully prevent that awful hand-slicing or shoulder-tugging experience of lugging traditional non-padded fabric handles. The PORON® will never break down or wear thin, no matter how many trips you make to the store.

    Small but strong

    Many years ago I bought a lot of large Tom Bihn shop bags for groceries. Fast forward many years later and one of the changes in the grocery stores is they try to stuff everything in one bag. Well with the large version, this is basically possible and the bag can hold it all but I don't enjoy lifting a 50lb bag of groceries up two flights of stairs. Enter the small shop bag. It holds noticeably less, but still as strong and functional as it's big sibling, and that is the beauty of it. Now the grocery store clerks can't overfill this to be too heavy (well if I got only canned goods or gallons of milk maybe). Makes grocery shopping much more pleasant. I got two in tidal which is my second favorite blue from Tom Bihn right behind Acuity.

    The best bag returns!

    Glad it’s Back!

    I love this style bag. It’s been retired and now is back. I like the two interior bottle pockets that can be used for all sorts of things. Minor complaint is that straps slip off shoulders too easily.
