This has become my go to bag for everyday use. It has enough room to carry a large tablet, not that I carry a tablet everyday, I just like the option to do so. It's mostly empty when I bring it around but if I end up in a random store or market, I never really worry about being g about to carry a small item.
I needed a bag that I could carry in front of while while touring Scotland. The medium cafe bag is perfect! Large enough to hold a water bottle too.
The website lists the depth of this bag as 6.3”. I just received mine today and discovered it was only about 3.5” deep. Perhaps the missing 3” can be found with the absent removable waist strap.
Sorry for any confusion! The 6.3" measurement is the "filled" depth, rather than seam-to-seam. When we fill the bags with the little incompressible plastic balls we use to find their volumes, we measure them then, so folks have a better idea of how big they'll get when filled, and what sort of max-size object will fit.
Of course, soft sided bags are tricky to measure and it's tough to get across to someone just how big a bag is, or can be. It would help if we included both seam-to-seam dimensions and filled dimensions, which we do for some bags. Getting that on all our bags is something we're working on, but it's a big job, and will take some time. ;)
