Clever design makes a simple pouch better
I got a few of these in different sizes to serve as first-aid kits. I keep one in my travel bag, one in my daily carry bag (when I’m not traveling), and I gave one to my college student who’s starting freshman year abroad. The mini and small sizes are nice and low-profile - light enough to take with you almost anywhere. The asymmetrical zipper also makes it so these pouches are easy to access if you are in a hurry or if you are using only one hand. I color-code the key strap to the pouch (red, of course) so it’s easy to find in a pinch. For plane travel, I take a couple packets of cortisone cream and antibiotic cream, and transfer a few tabs of ibuprofen and other basic travel meds into tiny pill bags. Just enough to get by if you arrive say late at night and need something to tide you over till the pharmacy opens.
