    Got it for travel, using it every day

    I needed a crossbody bag big enough to carry my daily necessities and also my sketching/journal kit, preferably in separate compartments, but not so huge that it felt too heavy to carry for hours at a time. I took it on a trial-run 5-day trip, and it passed the test with great success. It's now cemented as my personal bag on my six-week odyssey later this fall. The only thing I'd change is to make the strap a little softer, as the strapping material is a little abrasive where it rubs against my neck skin and I find myself needing to resettle the bag so it lies on cloth instead of bare skin on days when I am wearing a top without a collar. But this is a problem not unique to Tom Bihn bags, and it's otherwise so perfect that I would happily order it again in another color.

    Nice size.

    Nice bag. Deceptively spacious. I was unsure whether to go with the Side Kick or the Side Hustle. I carry a small tablet and a few books. It fills out nicely and maintains accessibility even when it's filled. The Side Kick may have worked but likely would have gotten too tight after it fills out.

    Upgrade from Fanny Pack

    The Side Hustle is an upgrade from a fanny pack which I would normally carry over my shoulder. The Side Hustle is much better quality, looks great, and has more space for the stuff that I carry on day trips.

    This bag is perfect in so many ways, however, the buckles squeak and it is really annoying. I have to hold them so that I don’t hear it.
