I loved it when I opened the box. It was beautiful and a great size to carry my iPad. My problem with it, and the reason I sent it back was that the loose lining fabric made being able to add things to the main pocket difficult and hard to find small loose items. I understand that this extra fabric creates a suspended section to help protect an iPad or laptop, however I already had my iPad in a Cache so I didn’t need this extra protection. Also the extra fabric provides room for items in the front and back pockets at the expensive of space in the main pocket. It did take me weeks to decide not to keep it. Maybe if it had just been less engineered and just a slightly larger Side Hustle with handled it would have worked for me. I love TB bags and don’t even bother looking at other brands anymore. Your experience may differ so don’t let my review talk you out of buying this briefcase.

Material is thin and light, different than my Tumi and Stuart & Lau bags. But thin and light in a good way. The right size, not overly big, perfect for an everyday carry.

I’m in technical sales but I also fix lots of stuff so I’m usually carrying a 20 pound backpack with all sorts of gear in addition to laptop and tablet. However I do have a days of sales calls with no need for tools and I wanted a small bag to carry just essentials like laptop, tablet, phone etc.. This bag is perfect. Fits my 13” laptop with a sleeve and my tablet. Nice organization, quality zippers. Looks great and made in the USA! I love it!!

The bag is lightweight, durable, compatible with the TB comfort strap and could easily be compressed to fit into a larger bag or used for organized storage in a larger bag. It is minimalist by design, but provides essential (and thoughtfully placed) compartments for commuting or working on the go. It comfortably fits a 13" laptop with a light sleeve. It's about as compact as can be found for a laptop bag (or minimal briefcase).
