I wanted a smaller backpack to carry the amazingly numerous things I evidently feel I need for my day-to-day work.. I wanted something “smoother” with fewer external nooks and crannies, because I wanted to use it in professional settings and not look like I was going to be walking out for a hike immediately after whatever. I love the internal pocket for my water bottle and the Luminary contains my tablet, portable keyboard, mouse, diary, pen holder, journal, random book, wallet, phone, etc in some order, which makes it easy to find everything. And it looks good doing it. I know I can use a briefcase for all of the above, probably looking even more professional, but I love being able to sling the pack on one shoulder, or both if two-handedness is an issue. Glad I got it. My Synik will take me on the trail or a plane but for day-to day, this luminary is luminous.

I was looking for a medium sized pack for office or day trips, and it’s been perfect! The style is a little retro, very 00s. Side pockets are a little odd shaped, but they have fit my needs perfectly.

I really like the Luminary 15 for work when I have to bring a laptop/ipad, a microphone, and a big water bottle. It is large enough for that plus essentials, and compact and classy enough to accompany me as I navigate urban environments.
I am looking forward to seeing the new version with the Racket Coil zippers. I hope a Saffron/UV Luminary 15 is made one day!! My work setup colors are purple, gray, and golden yellow. I chose Nebulous/UV this time, but I would gladly exchange it for a Saffron/UV one!!!!!

This is the perfect sized backpack. Sleek, fits my tablet. Doesn't have a bunch of extra zipped pouches hanging off it. I attend work conferences with it regularly, bring it on city trips and even take it hiking. It cleans up like a dream. The straps are so comfortable. I would love to have it in every color. Please bring it back. I get complements about it constantly and people are dismayed when I say its no longer sold.
