    Snaps last years

    My bag has traveled all over the world for many years and only had one part wear out. One snap wore down after years of a heavy workload and daily use. With the replacement snaps it is good to go another 10 years or more. The quality of a Tom Bihn bag cannot be beat.

    Great Tip: 1" Tri-Glide (pair) for backpack strap wrangling

    After watching the hacks video where these are used to keep the extra material from the shoulder strap adjustment in check (see https://vimeo.com/160672776 -- starting at 0:36), I buy this part for every backpack I have. Such a great tip! It just makes it so much more convenient. Great for the Techonaut bags where the straps can be hidden in the bag, but also for other backpacks that go through the TSA scanner. Much less chance a strap is going to get caught somewhere. No more flapping around.

    I use these clips in my Synik 30. I use them to clip a storage pouch to the upper part of the main compartment. Its nice to have that pouch there for quick access.
