I really like the Luminary 15 for work when I have to bring a laptop/ipad, a microphone, and a big water bottle. It is large enough for that plus essentials, and compact and classy enough to accompany me as I navigate urban environments.
I am looking forward to seeing the new version with the Racket Coil zippers. I hope a Saffron/UV Luminary 15 is made one day!! My work setup colors are purple, gray, and golden yellow. I chose Nebulous/UV this time, but I would gladly exchange it for a Saffron/UV one!!!!!

This is the perfect sized backpack. Sleek, fits my tablet. Doesn't have a bunch of extra zipped pouches hanging off it. I attend work conferences with it regularly, bring it on city trips and even take it hiking. It cleans up like a dream. The straps are so comfortable. I would love to have it in every color. Please bring it back. I get complements about it constantly and people are dismayed when I say its no longer sold.

Love the bag it's good size one up from sling bag if you need to carry more, sits close to your back as a sling my thoughts anyway.

Took this bag on a recent trip to 6 National Parks. For me the size was perfect. Was able to always carry a water bottle (nicely balanced in the middle of the bag), folding trekking poles, first aid kit, headlamp, sunglasses, snacks, spare charging block, and lunch. It seemed whatever I needed to have I had room for in the Luminary and when it warmed up I had no problem taking off a layer and fitting it in this bag. Hiked through all kinds of weather and on all kinds of trails. It sits well on my back. I also appreciated that when I shopped the bag did not stick out. While I am sad that this bag has been retired, I am glad to have snagged one before it did. I can't recommend it enough.
