I purchased this in the reverse black and I love the combination of a more upscale look in the reverse black plus the larger size and pockets for organization. I still wish the label was sewn into the side instead of plastered on the front of the bag, but at least it is toned down in gray and black. The 2 lengthwise pockets and 2 half pockets inside the bag are perfect for my needs. Will be using this one a lot-thank you!

I didn’t expect to like the Big Bantam as much as I do. I am a satisfied owner of a Side Hustle (as well as some larger packs) and wanted something a little smaller. I bought the Side Effect and the BB and was so much more impressed with the latter. The two fabric construction is clever, and having ballistic fabric be the “dome” of this bag while the front and back are X-pac give it amazing structure even when empty vs looking squashed. This structure helps so much for keeping my EDC items organized and stay in place when I’m rooting around in there especially in lower light. (I still like my Side Effect in Spectron and Side Hustle in ballistic, however, due to their rectangular design and where the straps attach, they do tend to sag when I’m wearing them unless they’re stuffed full.) I carry WPK, as well as chapstick, first aid kit, mini flashlight, folding knife, inhaler, sunglasses, with plenty of vertical space to spare. The BB also looks fresh with its rounded corners and more shallow profile. It is now my main crossbody - and I have lots of good ones from many companies. I am now a fan of Jose’s designs and now I’m convinced that TB is going in a positive new direction.

I think I found my new concert bag. It's the perfect size to fit everything I need while remaining zipped closed. Plus the pockets and o-rings will keep all of my stuff organized within the bag. The spectron is a fantastic material as well.

This is the perfect bag for: phone, keys, wallet, Kindle, small notebook, pen, small hand cream, lip balm, and tissue. It could probably fit a little more, but that’s all I need. I like it more than the side effect because it has a bit more room, and more than the side kick because it’s easier to access the contents. I wasn’t sure if I’d keep this, but it’s my new favorite.
