Like most Bihn bags this holds much more than expected, easily holding a week's worth of warm weather clothes/toiletries or the equivalent of almost 2 plastic grocery bags of grocery items. Perfect size for a carry-on personal item (and constructed well enough that I'd be OK if it had to be gate checked). The Pop-Tote and the large Zip Top Shop bags are my 2 of my most used TB bags because of their versatility, durability, and ease of use (comfortable handles that stay on your shoulder without slipping and don't hurt your hands when carrying heavy loads).
Shown below in Aubergine ballistic (a deep, rich tone that changes with the light), with a 17 ounce water bottle in the exterior slip pocket. One detail to note- the exterior pockets taper into a V shape (bottom is more narrow than the top/opening...not a problem, just fyi).

This is perfect for me. I use it as an EDC for work. I use it like an open tote with the buttons snapped down so it looks like a trapezoid. The coyote color is very attractive. I can take lunch, a 12 "laptop, and personal items like a stocking cap, stethoscope, and wallet. It is lightweight, so it doesn't contribute much to my overall weight as I walk long distances to work. I can crumple it up, stuff it into my work locker, and pop it out at the end of the day, and it looks as good as new. I'm very hard on my things so I look forward to looking put together despite that. The rolled handles stay on my shoulder really well which is a problem of mine with other bags.

My husband had a stroke and unable to walk and is confined to a wheelchair. I’m his caregiver at all times so need to be able to have necessary items with me at all times.
Your Pop Tote gives me extra security in being able to provide help when needed. I can hang the carrying straps between the wheelchair handles to allow my hands to be free to navigate his wheelchair.
I love the styling of the Tote and never have to worry about the quality craftsmanship. Keep up the great job. Love your products.

I mostly use the Pop Tote as a travel bag/personal item, but also sometimes as a grocery bag or general tote. The end pockets work well for various travel necessities (phone, earbuds, water bottle, chapstick, wallet), and there's plenty of room inside for larger items like a sweater, jacket, reading material, chargers, etc. When I get to my destination I snap it open and use it as a laundry bag.
Overall, it's super durable and the handles are very comfortable, and the option to "pop" it open is useful and unique. Would recommend!

I bought this bag in aubergine for my wife as she needed something more casual and a little more space for stops around the town and picking up small items from the store. Overall, she loves and uses it quite a lot.
Her comments generally have included what others have said. In her bag's color, the inside is very dark and hard to see darker items. The bag would be better suited with a lighter liner of some sort. It probably would not even need to be as high quality as the Halcyon. Also, some sort of slip pocket for very basic organization. Nothing elaborate, but maybe a section to put heavier items so they don't flop around and trample other items in the bag. A last bonus item would be a small interior zippered pocket to hold smaller items that you would not want exposed on the less useful exterior zippered pockets. I would suggest removing one of the exterior pocket inside and making it slightly larger. Lastly, she likes the capacity a lot and is fine with it. However, the straps could be a couple inches longer as it rides very high slung over the shoulder.
Though those changes would add some cost, I think they would elevate the bag up a notch. I would have paid an extra $25 for it if it had most of the suggestions. Unfortunately, we would probably never get an upgraded one because Tom Bihn bags are built like tanks and hers will likely never need replacing for a very long time.
Overall, a very good bag with even more potential possible.
