My previous knitting bag was a many years old Fringe Association Field Bag. It was a decent bag but the leather strap was becoming very worn, and I hated that my yarn was always catching on the rope knots used to close the bag. Plus it couldn’t be carried on a shoulder.
I am thrilled with my Little Swift by comparison. When I first opened the box, I thought it looked too small and I’d made a mistake. Then I put my current project inside, an almost complete large women’s sweater, and got organized. Fits perfectly! I don’t love large bags and there is not much room to spare, but that suits my needs perfectly.
The included small stuff sack is just big enough for a pretty standard dk-weight yarn cake. Im not sure if the guiding clip inside the stuff sack is truly necessary but it’s unobtrusive at least. I’m glad I bought a few extra medium stuff sacks for other projects, too.
I wish I’d bought the original Swift too 😂 but I’m super happy with this bag and look forward to many happy projects together.
