Everything you buy from us here at TOM BIHN is satisfaction guaranteed. We’ve been in business for over 30 years and we stand behind what we make.
If something goes wrong and it's our fault, we'll fix it for free. Repairs due to normal wear and tear or due to other things that are not our fault will be performed, when possible, at a reasonable charge right here in our Seattle factory where your bag was made. Defects in materials or workmanship are uncommon and almost always evident while the product is still new. Keep in mind that bags and packs are often subject to extreme wear in everyday use: do not expect them to last forever. Only true love lasts forever! You can expect a TOM BIHN product to give years and years of hard service.
Our masks are satisfaction guaranteed. Please email@example.com if you're happy with your mask *or* there's something that doesn't work for you. We want to hear from you!
Cut and Sewn in Seattle
Our bags and face masks are designed and cut & sewn right here in Seattle, Washington, U.S.A.
That allows us to be control freaks in the best way possible; we have direct control and oversight of the quality of our materials, our products, and the jobs and working environment that we help create. It also offers us a unique spontaneity: when we have an idea for a new product or accessory, we can design it, figure out how to build it, add it to our website and be ready to ship it out our front door all within just a few weeks. How cool is that?

The Ghost Whale Organizer Pouch is one of the new versions of pouch we came up with after asking you guys how you use our Organizer Pouches/what you carry in them/what you like/what you don’t like. (Other designs are in process, but they may or may not ever materialize… we'll all just have to wait and see.)
We took two requests in particular for Organizer Pouches with —
- a bit more depth
- more access to / visibility of what’s inside the pouch
— and applied that to our existing requirements:
- Must have a snaphook so it can clip to the O-rings inside our larger bags.
- Must be as useful as our existing Organizer Pouches.
- Can make efficient use of small sections of scrap fabric.
What we came up with is an organizer pouch that features a curved L-shaped opening with a #3 YKK Coil zipper. This allows you to zip the pouch open / access contents on just the narrowest side or zip it fully open, almost clamshell style (but not fully clamshell, lest your stuff tumble out of the pouch).
The name? Tom thinks the shape of the pouch resembles that of a whale (Melville is on his Audible wishlist.) Nik thinks the pattern for the pouch is shaped like a ghost. There you have it: Ghost Whale.
Our Organizer Pouches are made with scrap fabric. Though we utilize our Tetris skills to make the most out of every marker (marker = the pattern that Irma uses to cut multi-plys of fabric) some resulting scrap fabric is inevitable. All but the smallest of these scraps are rolled, secured with a rubber band, and stored until it’s time for us to make new Organizer Pouches. And when it’s that time, we pull rolls, take them over to our die-press, pull the appropriate die from our die wall, and have at it.
Fits really small items. Airpods, business cards, essential oils, lip balm, mini first-aid kit, etc.
Fits small items. Think along the lines of a mini notebook and pen.
Fits slightly larger small items and is especially useful for carrying pens/pencils/markers, reusable utensils, cords and cables.
You guessed it: designed to fit an A5 notebook with room for pens/pencils/markers.
