The Synapse 19 is the smallest in the Synapse lineup, offering a more compact and streamlined carry than the Synapse 25. It’s perfect for minimalist everyday use, with just enough space for your essentials — all while delivering the smart organization, comfort, and durability that define the Synapse series.

Thoughtful main compartment design: Perfect for storing large, flat items and includes a banded open-top pocket that is spacious enough for a pair of sandals.

Stay organized on the go: Five exterior pockets with room to spare — including one just for your 32 oz water bottle.

Pack it your way: Cache loops to attach a 13" laptop and additional O-rings for extra organization in the main compartment.

Breathable back panel: Provides maximum airflow while still being gentle on clothing.

Perfect everyday carry bag
The Synapse 19 is hands-down the best everyday carry bag I’ve ever owned. What impresses me most is how well it maintains its form—even when carrying a full water bottle. Perfect fit
I’m petite and needed to replace my daily backpack. The new one needs to have cushioned straps that don’t slip off my shoulders, and be the right length for a good fit. My new Synapse 19 is perfect. Lots of well thought out spaces , comfortable cushioning , and very well made. I wore it daily through Japan and Korea, with no backaches at the end of each day.

Maybe found my Unicorn Bag
I think my search for my unicorn is finally complete. I needed a bag that not only worked as an EDC for work but also my “mom bag” for when I am out an about with kiddos.
I love all the organization features of this bag. The smaller pockets help me with easy access to everything I need. It carries weight beautifully, even when loaded up with my work computer (13 inch with padded sleeve) or multiple water bottles when I am with the kids.
I love the style and the material. It is very durable. I also like how this bag isn’t huge on me, I am 5’4“ like some other backpacks can be.
I am extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend for anyone looking for a solid EDC bag!

Help me Love my Synapse even More
I just bought a Synapse 19 for work travel mostly involving flying. I love the multiple pockets and the overall form fitting shape of the pack. On my first trip-I immediately noticed two items that if added would make the pack even more user friendly.
The first would be the addition of a small mesh pouch on the outside of the back of the pack-right under the Tom Binh label. This pouch would be where I could quickly tuck my cell phone and car keys everytime I went through security. Quick storage with visiblity of the contents would be most welcome.
The second addition would be some sort of a leather or suede or rough fabric sewn onto the undersude of the pack straps where they contact the shoulder. Everytime I bent forward for some reason-the pack slid off my shoulder because the pack strap was slippery. As I sat in the airport watching people carry daypacks, I noticed that about 30% carry the pack using only one strap-usually the right strap over the right shoulder. So some sort of rough patch under the straps would stop this from happening and make the pack easier to carry.
