Fall at the Factory
Fall is starting to show its face here in Seattle—cold mornings, shorter days, leaves crunching on the pavement, and, of course, a fresh batch of ideas taking root in the factory.
As the seasons change, we decided it was time for another Factory Update, one of our favorite ways to reflect on what we've released, share fun factory stories, and more.
Looking Back at Summer
This summer was one of our busiest! New colors, new launches, and a few familiar faces returning from the archives.
A Very Colorful Summer
From cool turquoise to electric blue and golden yellow, this summer brought a whole new spectrum of color to the lineup. Here’s a look back at the shades that kept things bright.

Agave Took Root
In early July, we released Agave 630 HT Ballistic—a soft turquoise shade that captured the fleeting weeks of summer in its depth.

Sapphire Has Arrived
Our latest 420D Spectron color, Sapphire, debuted as a seasonal release in late July—electric, intense, and a little unexpected.

Saffron Made Its Mark
Saffron 630 HT Ballistic—warm, golden, and just a little bit earthy arrived in late August.

Cantaloupe and Honeydew 200D Halcyon—A Bittersweet End to Summer
We launched Cantaloupe and Honeydew in late September. After weeks and weeks of delays, we were finally able to share these with you as an end-of-summer send-off.
Cantaloupe has been fully committed, so grab it while you can!
We Dug Through the Archives
This was the summer of bringing things back…
The Luminary 15 and Zeitgeist Made Their Debuts (Again)
We brought back the Luminary 15 and Zeitgeist as a surprise launch in mid-September! Some designs are too good to let sit in retirement.
The Trucks Had Their Moment
Thanks to a shoutout from Wirecutter earlier this year, our Truck sold out completely. In July, we opened pre-orders to bring it back—and decided the Monster Truck deserved a comeback, too. And naturally, we couldn’t leave the Pick-Up Truck out of the fun, so that returned as well.
With the Saffron launch happening around the same time, it was a busy stretch for our trucks. We were blown away by the response!
We Said Hello to a Few New Things
We were at the design table this summer…

Meet The Adept Roll-Top Backpack
Back in August, we introduced the Adept, our newest roll-top backpack and a fresh addition to our everyday carry lineup. Designed for long days and full loads, the Adept offers 26 liters of space, with an additional 3 liters available when you extend the roll-top. It’s built to adapt as your day unfolds, whether you’re commuting, traveling, or carrying a little more than usual.
The Mountains Are Calling
We dropped the Guide’s Edition Synapse 19 in early October as an early-fall take on a familiar favorite. It has all the features you love about the original Synapse 19, with a more rugged look and additional features suited to the woods and mountains—and just as at home on city streets.

We Refreshed an Old Favorite
An old favorite has a new name! The Clear Quarter Packing Cube is back as the Double Clear Organizer Cube, returning after several years away in retirement. Available now is a range of your favorite colors.

Website Updates in Progress
We’ve been hard at work creating a more user-friendly website design. You may have already spotted a few changes—we hope you’re enjoying the fresh look!
Behind the Lens
As you may have noticed, we’ve been slowly updating our lifestyle and studio images! This summer, we had countless photoshoots all around Seattle. Recognize any iconic locations?

The Luminary 15 and Zeitgeist photoshoot took place at the Ballard Locks—our models were accompanied by seals and salmon.
Just this week, we took much-needed Swift lifestyle photos at Cafe Blameless—Seattle’s newest café housed in a 100-year-old church in the Ravenna neighborhood. Think fall, think cozy, think knitting over a cup of joe. We can’t wait to share these with you!
We also did a full factory photoshoot! New staff portraits and behind-the-scenes images from the factory floor are coming soon.
And before you ask—yes, the fruit in the Cantaloupe and Honeydew images are real. And yes, it was very sticky. And no, we do not recommend packing your bags with fruit (unless you are a fruit bat, of course).
Material Updates
We’re saying goodbye to Navy Parapack. This fabric has been part of our story for a long time, appearing across several of our heritage products, but it’s time to make room for new possibilities in our material lineup. Navy Parapack is available in its final run in the Guide’s Edition Synik 26.
We’re also exploring a couple of new shades of Ballistic and Spectron fabrics. Is there a color you’ve been hoping to see? We’d love to hear your ideas.
On the Floor
The production floor is as busy as ever, with the team sewing up new designs ahead of the holiday season.
We’ve quietly been working on bringing one archival product back this winter—any guesses?
What’s Coming Next
José has been working on a new wallet design—we’re now in the final stages of the process, and it's one we’re excited about and think you will be too!
And that’s not all. We have a brand-new bag up our sleeve, too…
We’re also planning something we’ve never done before for Black Friday/Cyber Monday. That’s all we’re saying for now.
Feeling Festive
There are always fun things happening behind the scenes at the factory. While working on her very D.I.Y. Halloween costume, our marketing manager, Maia, hit a roadblock: where to find faux-fur scraps? After a little digging, the team unearthed some old faux-fur samples and gave them away for some Halloween costume crafting.
Thanks, as always, for being part of this journey. Your support, feedback, and enthusiasm keep us going. Fall has officially arrived at the factory, and we can’t wait to show you what’s next.
