5/18 Pre-order + Restock Notes: Road Buddy, Updated Daylight Backpack, and more!

Our next pre-order + restock event is Wednesday 5/18 at 7:00am Pacific Time.

The pre-order period will run from 5/18 to 5/25. To make sure your order goes as smoothly as possible, we encourage you to try to make any changes or cancellations within this period as well. Updates

As usual, we're keeping ourselves quite busy at the factory. During the last two weeks, we had to shuffle some crew members around to make space for the showroom! We had moved some folks into that space for social distancing reasons when COVID started. After some re-organizing, cleaning, and setting up, we're really excited to open the showroom again on May 16! Some limitations will still be in place, like masking, but we're excited nonetheless. Mark your calendars :)

We also have some fun stuff in process on the floor right now. The Paramour and Smart Alec pre-orders were a success for us, and we're putting those into production now! We're also making a batch of Tri-Stars (yes you read that correctly!), sewing up a new sling/ fanny pack, and working on a new design or two in parallel. As for some not so fun news...two of our three bartacking machines broke and we're still waiting for the new ones to arrive. This may stall some of the bags we have in production, but hopefully the issue will resolve itself very soon.

Any word on when you’ll announce the availability of all those zest and fjord goodies the amazing sewing team is sewing up? I need to set my alarm so I don’t miss out!!

I too am super excited about that Maker’s Bag back pocket. Add my vote for mars red! (or original halcyon with a bright interior color other than island…maybe zest? ;)

I have been watching your site for medium size pouches in Mayura. Any chance of a pre-order or waiting list for this? Every time I check your site it seems to be continually out of stock. Thanks.

Hi Catherine! We’re actually in the process of cutting up fabric for the pouches now and hope to get some restocked soon (a few weeks or maybe less)! Definitely free to check in again if you still don’t see them up on the site in a few weeks. Thanks for your patience!

Very excited about the new exterior back pocket. It has been my one gripe about the original Makers Bag. Putting in a request for Red or Aubergine in the new future.

I want to order the larger duffle in black but I don’t like the blackout labels – it shows the red labels in the photos. Which is it? Also, will there be a “red” messenger bag in the new style?

Hi there! The black Road Buddies will have the red labels as shown in the photos. I believe you’re referring to the Maker’s Bag, and no red will be available this time. Let me know if you have any other questions! :)
