TOM BIHN Seattle Factory Showroom

Find yourself in Seattle? Come visit the TOM BIHN showroom! Located right inside our HQ in Seattle: 4750A Ohio Ave S, Seattle, WA 98134. We're in a semi-industrial district just ~8 minutes drive south of Pike Place Market and ~15 minutes drive north of SeaTac airport.

What are the hours for the showroom?
Showroom will be opened Monday through Friday from ~7:00am-2:30pm PT with the exception of company holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Day, Day After Christmas, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day). Usually, most of our crew is also out during the entire week between Christmas and New Year's for some well-deserved time off, so our showroom will likely be closed during that time. We try to keep our hours pretty up-to-date on google.

Do I need to make an appointment?
There is no need to make an appointment during regular showroom hours.

Do I need to wear a mask?
Masks are optional.

Can I bring food or drinks?
No, for sanitation reasons, we do not allow food or drinks in the showroom or elsewhere in the factory (with the exception of the kitchen area that is reserved for crew members only). If you're craving a bite or a drink, we recommend that you head down the block to one of our neighbors (Hudson or Two Beers *note 21+ only).

Is there parking available?
Yes, we have 3 designated parking spots reserved for customers right in front of the showroom. More parking is also available on the sides of the parking lot. Just be sure to not park in any spot marked with any of our neighbors' logos!

Do you have any other showrooms?
Nope, just this one!

Can I order online and pick up at the showroom?
Yes, of course! There is an option to select showroom pick-up at checkout. Note that this option will only show up if you enter a WA address for shipping, so if you're visiting from out of state, we recommend entering in your local hotel / airbnb / friend's address.

Can I purchase bags at the showroom?
Yes, of course! Feel free to browse the showroom walls or ask the crew to see any specific colors, fabrics, or designs.

Can I bring a bag in for a return or exchange?
Sure thing, as long as it is within the returns window.

Do you guys accept cash?
We accept credit and debit cards only! No cash, check, Venmo, Bitcoin, or anything else we haven't already listed.

Can I take pictures?
You're welcome to take pictures in our showroom with any of our bags. We also have a selfie station with a ring light to help ensure you get the best lighting even on the gloomiest Seattle days. We ask that you please refrain from taking direct pictures of the crew as that may distract them from their work.

Will I be able to get a tour of the factory?
Yes! Our Customer Service team is happy to give you a mini tour from behind the factory lines and answer any questions.

Will I be able to get a sneak peak of upcoming restocks / debuts / pre-orders?
Hmm...maybe. We're always keeping ourselves busy, you will have to come see for yourself! :)

Can I bring my dog?
Yes! Well-behaved leashed dogs are welcome anytime. We think the loudish sounds and varied smells at the factory are great for dog socialization!

I live in the frightening wilderness that is northwest Florida, but I’ll be coming through SEATAC on my way to visit the fam in Alaska in July. Don’t think I’ll have time to visit your shop, but wondering whether any place at the airport or nearby sells your bags. Just because I’m currently awaiting my first order, and I’m already sure I’ll want more!
Thanks/J

Hi Juju! What a fun trip you have ahead of you! At this time, our bags are only available online and at our showroom. We are located just ~15 min from SEATAC and en route to downtown Seattle so hopefully you can squeeze the showroom into your itinerary 🤞

Hello there,

Is your factory/showroom accessible via public transportation en route from downtown Seattle to SEATAC? I am wondering if I can swing by on my way to the airport. My host will not be available so I plan to take public transportation to SEATAC. Made possible with just a TB carry-on bag :).

Hi LiLin, thanks for reaching out! We’d love to meet you in person at our factory showroom. We’re afraid public transportation is not the easiest option as it requires a bit of walking, especially if you’re bringing all your luggage with you. But here it is if you want to consider it! From downtown the plan of action would be to catch a 131 (or 132) down to S Bennett and walk to us from there (a 0.7 mile walk). When you leave the factory, you’ll want to take the 131 (or 132) back towards downtown, get off on Lander, walk a couple blocks to the SoDo station, then take that south to SeaTac. We’d recommend catching an uber as an alternative option, should be any more than a 15 minute drive from downtown or from the factory to SeaTac.

SO GLAD! I’ve been contemplating the versions/sizes of Truck and Shop Totes and it will be so much easier to decide if I can examine them in person! I drive past your factory multiple times a week and have been hoping against hope you’d reopen for in-person visits!
