Full Description

Main Compartment

The main compartment is slim but capacious enough for everything you need for a day out, whether you're at a co-working space, on the plane, at a coffee shop, or in your favorite brewery. It zips closed to keep the rain off your equipment while you're on the move.

Inside the main compartment you'll find an open-topped device pocket measuring 13" x 9" and made from spacer mesh (the same mesh as our Synik 30's laptop pocket).

Front Pocket

The front pocket features several smaller pockets, big enough for a pen or stylus, charge bank, or smart phone. It also has plenty of room to hold all the things you need quick access to: power cords, wallets, fobs, and snacks.

Zippable Luggage Handle Passthrough Pocket

The passthrough measures 13¾" / 350mm wide and features a zippered bottom so it can be converted to an open-topped pocket when not being used to secure your tote to a roller bag. Plenty big enough to put your laptop into if you just need to move a few feet and don't want to go through the motions of zipping and unzipping the bag, or if you want quick access to a notepad or eReader.

    Nomad Tote

    I loved it in every way, but returned it. I should have looked more carefully at the measurements. It is too small for my need as a music teacher in 2 rural Maine communities. If you ever make a larger version, I’ll be first in line :)

    Well thought tote bag for minimalist types

    I got this bag to step down from the backpack days, as I do not need to carry a laptop anymore. It has plenty of room for tablets, e-readers, A4 binders and smaller gadgets. In a pinch, it can fit a 14" MBP (not ideal, but possible). Using a packing cube, it can hold a folded summer blazer or a light sweater, too. Access to the main compartment and front pocket is straightforward, and the bag can stand upright. It looks like an excellent carry-on item for travelling, and it is an EDC bag that can be used at the office and at home without feeling out of place.

    Great for casual laptop carry, good size, comfortable too

    Just loved the look of this, and wanted something to carry my 14" laptop in, while waiting for the Synik 30 restock. And actually really like it on its own too. Laptop fits in the sleeve perfectly, and the bag is the right size to fit under my arm without being too bulky or big. Handles are comfy on the shoulder. Great organization options inside and in the exterior pocket. A really thought-through product from TB.

    Even if I later get the Synik 30 for the 14" laptop, this will be my go-to for carrying my laptop more casually, and e.g. going to museums afterwards that require backpacks to be checked in, etc.

    Really debated keeping the blue one or the black. The black looks very sharp, and in brighter light the fabric has a nice sheen, but in dimmer light looks like a plain black bag. So went for the blue.
