Description
After using the our First/Second Aid Pouches for over a year, Tom decided he wanted the potential for even more organization. He saw that many of the items in his First Aid Pouch (foil packets of antiseptic wipes, pain meds) and in his Second Aid Pouch (mini-sized Ritter Sport bars) had a similar form factor and size, and decided to make tiny zippered pouches that could contain all this minutiae.
Our new Pouchkins come in three different styles: Single, Double, and Leaf. The Single Pouchkin is sized to fit just one foil packet of meds, wipes, or whatever else makes sense to you. The Double Pouchkin is larger and has two pockets, giving you double the storage options. Both Single and Double Pouchkins feature a clear urethane front so you can see what’s inside, and lightweight snap hooks so you can attach them to the O-rings inside your First/Second Aid Pouch.
Like the Double Pouchkin, the Leaf has two clear front pockets, only a bit bigger; the backside also has a full-width zippered mesh pocket, great for Band-Aids® or similar sized items, or anything that needs a bit of air circulation. The Leaf attaches with little bayonet clips to the elastic loops along the “spine” of the First/Second Aid Pouch.
All three Pouchkins are made of the same 400d pack fabric we use on the First and Second Aid Pouches. They're available in any color you want, so long as it's either red or blue. #3 YKK coil zippers with plastic sliders keep them free of any metal—you needn’t ever worry about rust or corrosion.
