I got the Little Swift in Cloud with Tidal lining. I love the colors, they go great together and are somehow vibrant even though they're a more muted palette than some of the other color combos. The bag does slouch a tad when not full (as in picture), but stands up pretty well. In the picture you can see the Tidal small yarn sack and a larger one I got in Ultraviolet, as well as Knitting tool pouches I'm Aubergine, all of which fit in the bag together right now without a large project in the bag as well (I have a rolled up Tidal Tool/Pen wrap in an inside pocket too which isn't visible). I put a (non-Tom Bihn) book tote that's roughly the dimensions of the Swift in background for comparison. The quality of the Little Swift, yarn sack, and inside pockets and clips is amazing. I'm confident that it will last for ages. I love how everything has a loop that it can be fastened to so nothing is floating around in the bag. I wish I'd ordered the larger Swift too! I'll leave reviews on all the accessories I sprung for separately. Great gift for yourself or the crafter in your life.

I bought a large swift years ago when they first came out. It started as a knitting bag, but turned into my go-to purse. I was really excited with the re-release and ordered the smaller version to actually use as a knitting bag.

The seapine and sangria are both beautiful colors and the design is still a fav. It stands open on its own, but also packs flat when not in use, or stuffed into another bag. The O rings are thoughtfully placed to hook accessories onto and the zippered pouches are great for knitting needles or papers.

The bags are so lightweight but sturdy! With the larger swift that I use as my EDC, the padded straps keep my shoulder from hurting and the design fits perfectly under my arm. I can carry the bag filled to the brim and heavy for a full day shopping without any discomfort.

Also, after several years of daily use and abuse, my large swift looks new. The fabric has held up for nearly a decade! No fade, snags, tears, and the zippers still slide like butter.

I cannot say enough nice things about Tom Bihn in general and specifically this bag design. Customer service is always amazing, and you can't beat the warranty.

This is a beautiful bag! I love that it stands up on its own; doesn't have a zip top to catch yarn when knitting; has several O-rings so that you can clip in things that rest on the top (and might otherwise be at risk to fall out). I like the zippered plastic side pouches, but things cling a bit as you try to slide larger items like a book or laptop down the side of the bag - I'll probably get used to that soon, but I've been surprised by the resistance a couple of times.

Its a little smaller than I expected, but that's on me for not judging the measurements more critically. I can use this bag as a purse and knitting bag for small knitting projects - socks, hats, scarves - but if I have a larger knitting project it would be a tight squeeze. I can also fit my laptop in it, but the corners stick out a bit. If you knit larger projects like sweaters or baby blankets, or want the bag to do dual duty to transport a laptop or also use as a purse, go for the full size Swift.
