Full Description

3 Open-Top Compartments

The Truck has three open-top compartments. They are easy and intuitive to load up and will likely swallow more than you expect.

The center compartment is stabilized by a sewn-in piece of plastic stiffener. We recommend storing your heaviest items in this compartment, such as jugs of milk or other chunky items from your grocery run. The side compartments on each side are almost equally as capacious as the center compartment. If you're using the Truck as your gym bag, this is a perfect place to fit your shoes. 

There are two O-rings, one of which includes a Key Strap, located in the center compartment and one O-ring in each side compartment. For additional organization, you can add our pouches onto any of these four O-rings. 

Exterior Open-Top Front and Back Pockets

Exterior open-top front and back pockets sit on either side of the center compartment. They are perfect for storing a larger tablet, book, or old-school paper grocery shopping list. We made the pockets big enough to accommodate folded brown paper grocery bags, too, which are handy to have if you need the overflow capacity.

PORON® Foam-Padded Handles

Like our other carryall tote bags, the Truck has squishy PORON® foam-padded handles that make carrying a heavy load much more comfortable. The handles are designed to be carried over your shoulder. Or if you're on the taller side, you can also carry the Truck in your hands.

    Great for sports requiring helmets

    I ordered one for my equestrian gear (helmet, gloves, jacket, grooming tools, treats/snacks, water bottle, etc.), and loved it so much I ordered two more for my and my husband’s snowboarding gear (helmet, goggles, gloves, sunscreen, safety gear, etc.). The center compartment is the perfect size for helmets with room for additional items, and the two side compartments plus small pockets on the wide sides help organize smaller items so I’m not digging through a cavernous tote for a single glove. I wouldn’t be surprised to find myself ordering a fourth in the future. As with all Tom Bihn bags, I know they will hold up to the wear and tear I subject them to (my household’s Aeronaut 45 circa 2007 is still going strong)!

    Large capacity and good materials

    The bag is super lightweight but the material is very sturdy. There is one pocket that can fit a wallet and there is a strap to hook on a wallet or pouch. Only downside is that there is no zipper for the wallet area. Fits a lot of gallon glass milk bottles. 6 gallon glass milk bottles or 5 + 2 quart bottles.

    The Do It All

    I've bought and own 3 of these original trucks and 3 of the Monster Trucks and wouldn't hesitate to buy more .. that's all you should need to know. Possibly the most versatile bag ever thought up and brought to market. I use mine for work, shopping, casual outings, as gym bags and as my "personal item" when flying. I love the material, construction / workmanship, compartments and look and I like the fact the handles can serve as shoulder straps in a pinch. These are definitely the best / most versatile bags in my collection that I have with me and use the everyday.

    Such a great tote!

    I use this as my climbing gym bag. So nice because it sits flat and is wide open on top so I can see where everything is. Also the padded shoulder straps are very nice. The inside is lined with some kind of wax/plastic material so seems water resistant if I spill water.
