We noted this in the last blog post, but in case you missed it, we are beginning a transition from our 525d ballistic nylon to 630d ballistic nylon. They’re virtually the same fabrics — both high-tenacity yarns and even though 630d is ever so slightly heavier on paper, we can hardly feel it — and thus are pretty much indistinguishable from each other. 630d will offer us a continuously available supply (the base yarns will continue to be stocked by our mill) at an ever-so-slightly increased cost.

We've also been seeing some questions on how we choose between 1050d ballistic nylon and 525d ballistic nylon (or soon to be 630d) for our bags and wanted to write a quick clarifying note. For the majority of our bags, you'll see us opting for the 630d, 1050d is a very stiff fabric that doesn't work as well for any bags that have curves (we're looking at you in particular Synik and Synapse!).

And finally, we have an exciting update. We're still dealing with lots of supply chain challenges, but there is one bright spot. After waiting months for our 200d Halcyon (we expected the shipment back in December!), it's finally here! We'll be stocking more accessories in fun colors...stay tuned!

I noticed the paramour 400d black halcyon is coming with the island interior again, as is the small cafe bag in OG halcyon. Will you ever change the interior to something more fun with the remaining of halcyon you have left? Really bummed to just see the one combo of og/island again and again. Could some of the newer halcyon be used inside while you still have some 400d left?
