The front flaps of the Super
Ego and
Ego messenger bags close with a 2" wide heavy-duty plastic Duraflex Warrior buckle
that attaches to the bags with a removable strip of fabric backed by
Aplix™/Velcro™. The Super Ego and
Ego come with one strip in the color of your choice, but you can also
purchase additional strips on this page. Extra Duraflex Warrior buckle strips are $5.00 each. Or, you can swap the Duraflex Warrior buckle on a strip with a
seatbelt buckle for an extra $10.00.
The strip can be removed or swapped so that you can customize the Super Ego and
Ego to
fit your style or even your mood.
The strips on the Super Ego and Ego are designed to be swapped with different strips so that you can customize the Super Ego to fit your style or even your mood. Strips are available in the following colors and materials: Black, Steel, Wasabi,
Sapphire, Crimson, Blue Glitter, Olive, Plum, Reflective, Kelly, Cocoa, Navy,
Cork, Yellow Vinyl, and Deep Blue.
You can be basic (stick with Black, or a color that matches the front flap of your Super Ego/Ego), wild (Yellow Vinyl Strip on a Black/Crimson/Steel Super Ego/Ego), or somewhere inbetween (Cork Strip on a Black/Steel/Wasabi Super Ego/Ego). The color possibilities are endless.
If you get a new job or have a mid-life crisis, you don't have to get a whole new bag: just a new strip. We will be coming up with other unusual fabrics/colors in the future — stay tuned.
