"The Café Bag reminds me of the old poacher/hunter/general purpose bags some ages ago. Easy and simple access, extra pockets to put small items in, comfortable sling to carry the bag, just the right thing. Enough room for a small camera, cellular phone, umbrella, water bottle and many more “survival” items for the BIG city. Order and delivery was fast. Normally it can take some time for things to cross the Atlantic from the USA to Europe. Of course the costs are somewhat higher, but the quality and the design is hard to find over here in Europe."

"I love my cafe shoulder bag. I use all the time, but it's especially nice for travelling. Despite the simple (elegant even) exterior, the inside has the perfect amount of pockets! I love the front zipper pockets for the little things, the little pockets inside for other little things, like pens, and the holder rocks. I find myself putting 8 1/2 by 11 paperwork stuff, or even manilla folders,in the back pocket. The most important thing about the cafe shoulder bag though, is that is looks cool. "About the Medium Cafe Bag - I plan to use this one on the weekends. It's smaller than my large cafe bag, but will still hold a few magazines, wallet, checkbook, loose papers, bills, keys and small stuff. The small stuff (bandaids, rolaids, portable tooth brush) I keep in my medium Tom Bihn organizer pouch. These things are almost as indestructible as the bags. Totally cool." -- bobster

"The cafe bag's are shoulder bags meant to carry a few things, and not be complicated. They are pretty simple, but still very high quality. My bag still looks brand new after a year. It has a big open main compartment, that is covered by a flap that buckles in. Inside the main compartment are pockets for a phone, pda, and pens. There's loops to attach keys or organizer pouches. There's a zippered pocket on the side that the flap clips on, and a open stash pocket on the other side. They have many cool color combinations, and they have three sizes. Unfortunately I was fearful of ending up with a purse at the time, so I got a plain black/steel combo. To meet my carry requirements I got the medium version. It fits quite a bit, and carried what I needed it to do for school." -- renegadeot

The Medium Café Bag is a shoulder bag designed for those who want an everyday bag to organize and carry their essentials.

The main, open-top compartment and front zippered pocket of the Medium Café Bag are covered by an asymmetrical flap that closes with the distinctive TOM BIHN off-set Duraflex Warrior buckle. On the right front of the bag you'll see our distinctive grey TOM BIHN logo label.

Under the flap, you'll find a #8 YKK zipper pocket spanning the width of the bag. It's ideal for securing your wallet, checkbook, or other small items. The main compartment of the Medium Café Bag has an "o-ring" that comes with an 8" Key Strap attached to it. (Additional and extended length Key Straps can be purchased separately.) The Key Strap is useful for keeping track of your keys (many folks leave their keys attached to the key strap) and can be used to clip a pocket watch or Swiss-army knife to the bag. TOM BIHN Cordura, Clear, Padded, or Cork Organizer Pouches can also be attached to the o-ring for extra organization.

Also inside the main compartment are four organizer pockets. Two of the pockets are sized for your cell phone/iPod or a small wallet, and two are sized for pens. The back of the Medium Café Bag has a slanted, open-top pocket ideal for storing papers, files, a magazine or a newspaper.

The Medium Café Bag rides on your shoulder with a 1-1/2" shoulder strap made of high quality webbing produced for us by the same factory that manufactures seat belt webbing for BMW and Mercedes. It features a low-profile shoulder pad with a grippy underside. The Medium Café Bag can also be carried by a webbing handle that is on the the top/back of the bag. Available for an extra $5 is a removable waist strap so that you can wear the Medium Café Bag bike-messenger style.
