Brain Cell vs Brenthaven Sleeve?

I was wondering if you could talk about the protection offered by by the Brain Cell as compared to Brenthaven's sleeve.

It looks like the Brain Cell is lacking a bed of high density foam - is there any protection below the sling? Also, does the Brain Cell's frame compress the same way as Brenthaven's? Have you done any research or drop tests?

Sorry for the deluge of questions - just want to make sure I'm getting the best protection for my new 15" AlBook :)

Instead of having foam that the computer would sink into upon impact, the Brain Cell has a suspension system that is basically a cradle made out of foam - so the laptop never actually is able to push far down into the bag, and never touches the bottom of the bag. The corrugated plastic shell is below the sling.

As far as compression, I assume you mean when the laptop is between two objects, how much does the case compress on the laptop? The Brain Cell, with your laptop inside, is not designed to be put between two large heavy objects - just like it isn't designed to be dropped from 50 ft, or thrown around the room. It IS designed to protect your laptop in reasonable, everyday accidents, when you use your laptop and Brain Cell with common sense.

We are planning on doing some drop tests, but for now, we rely on the words of our customers who send us in raves & stories about how their laptops were protected by the Brain Cell.
