extra pocket pouch or padded mini pouch for a leatherman holder (gift)

shopping for a gift: got a leatherman blast on ebay and want some help on the holder. comes with a kinda chintzy looking sleeve cover so wanted to upgrade and add a strap (maybe she won't lose it the first week?)

folded the tool is 4 inches long but with depth, it would need 5 inches to close.

    thanks for the help.

Something other than Accessories - Leatherman ? Their prices seem hard to beat and you can probably pick them up at your local camping goods retailer.

I personally found that a lanyard on a tool like that just gets in the way. The second thing you use it for is to cut the *(&^*(&^ thing off.

Actually I meant will a padded TB pouch work as a place to keep a tool safe
    Or the "extra pocket"?
