You requested a version of our Side Effect without the waist strap and we made that happen. It's almost done, and now it's time to vote on color combinations. Note: the current Side Effect, with the waist strap, will continue to be available -- at least for now.

No waist strap kind of defeats it's purpose. Isn't "side" the definitive word, not "shoulder".
I'm sorry, but I have to disagree. I have one I cut the straps off of and one that I didn't. The cut off one gets a lot more use. I use mine as a project bag for my knitting. It fits better into the cafe bag than the stuff sacks or yarn sacks. I also use it while traveling to just carry my wallet and phone across my body.Quote:

Dyneema definitely. The reason I went for the 3D Cube over the Side Effect was the weight difference. Make the latter out of dyneema and my resistance will crumble.
