Oh, I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw this and immediately planned for non-travel uses! I can't wait to order them and use them on the dressers, desks, counters, and all other flat object-collecting surfaces.

That thing is brilliant! I've ordered two-- one for daily use and one for travel (so I'll have two while traveling.) I'm sure I'll be back for more. (Eyeing side table and accumulation of small objects.)
Fantastic idea.
<3.
Can't believe they already sold out! I'll have to get my other two after Christmas. Congratulations!
...I had some in my cart for me and a few holiday gifts and I was worried when I saw the backorder stars this morning. Thanks for the update...I'm relieved (to not need to find alternative gifts) and thrilled (to get mine before holiday travel)!
Yay Seattle factory crew!
I just had an idea for holiday presents -- a Travel Tray closed up, with an Ultrasuede cloth inside (and a t-shirt for those relatives for whom I've squirreled away shirts this year).
If I had more money, I'd also put a Shop Bag in there, but as it is, these will be January/February holiday presents, since I need to wait to find out how much our winter heating bills will be before I can buy presents! (We moved, for school, and I'm afraid of high bills because it's below freezing more often here than where we used to be.)
A Travel Tray or Stuff Sack could be used to hold a variety of small Tom Bihn presents, and they could even be color-coordinated. Organizer Wallets, Organizer Pouches, Passport Pouch, Ultrasuede Cloths, Key Straps, maybe even a gift certificate if the giver has the funds.
Great minds.....Last night I ordered a Travel Tray in Ultraviolet and an Untrasuede Cloth in Peony Pink as a Christmas gift for a friend that travels a lot and is hard to buy for due to their mantra "I don't want stuff...I have to be able to leave the country in 30 minutes or less!"
Our factory crew is just finishing up the next batch of Travel Trays today. They'll be in-stock by tomorrow afternoon. :)
