Hi Darcy,
Would there be any news at all to share? The last I heard, was about it having parts ordered and it was in the process of being field tested by Tom's brother. I know Tom would not release the product until it's ready, but just a little bit of news would be great on if Tom is still planning on releasing the product at all. Thanks!
Funny you should ask: Tom just finished going over the next change to the prototype with me. It involves webbing and Annex clips, but that's all I can say for now. It's pretty cool! We're wrapping up the Field Journal Notebook and have a new accessory to introduce that few people are expecting - then full attention will be given to the Camera Insert.

I can't wait to see it! It sounds like the camera insert is coming along nicely since the first pictured prototype.
I will be finding a Camera Bag/Solution this week, one way or the other.
Is anything moving forward?
I certainly want to wait for the Bihn but I need something now!

So, we have the lovely FJN and the water bottle accessory. Does that mean Santa Claus can stick the Camera Insert under the tree this Christmas?
I really hope it is a SLR/interchangeable lens-focused accessory....not something for a Point and Shoot camera....any new details you can share to drive your Tom Bihnaholic audience wild with anticipation?
Personally, I want something for my Leica M-bodies....but my Nikons could use a cozy nest, too.

Are you looking to make different sizes -- for one camera body & one lens, one body & a few lenses, two bodies, etc -- or just one size? Is it going to fit in different kinds of bags -- a backpack and/or a messenger bag, for example?
Gosh! Thank you, Darcy! That will be a great help! This reminds me of the very old Macy's / Gimble's story: Macy's felt it was very good customer service that, if they did not carry a product or have it available, they would search it it out and direct their customer to their desired product. It worked very well for them! It is that amazing Tom Bihn service that keeps us coming back time and time again!
