38 lbs?!?!?! Did you order one of everything? Please note that I am insanely jealous of whatever you bought even though I don't know what it is. And yes, please post pictures! :)
Walker, you can't deny our heartfelt request to live vicariously through you.
pics pics pics !!!
:) cannot wait to see them myself :)
Well, the UPS man dropped off 2 boxes at my office while I was out. They were waiting in my corner when i returned, but I did not notice them because they came in generic boxes (no TB logo, etc.). They do not weigh 38 lbs - I am disappointed :) I checked and noted that UPS updated the weight to 20 lbs on the "delivered" status page on their website. These 2 boxes definitely do not weigh 20 lbs either. They are bulky and I am short, but I lifted both at the same time easily. I did buy lots and will post the unboxing photo later.
Back to this thread's subject - I will be suffering through the next 8 hours :). I do not get home till 8 pm tonight - it is only past 12 noon where I am. I cannot open the boxes in my office - too much traffic today :)
"Out For Delivery" AKA sit on the edge of my couch all morning and possibly afternoon. C'mooooonnn UPS.
EDIT: ARRIVED!
Ughhhh!!!! Mine won't be here until Monday! I might not survive the weekend! Have I mentioned that I live entirely too far from Seattle???
*cough*maybeyoucouldjustmovetoseattle*cough* UPS Ground shipping within Washington State and part of Oregon arrives within ONE business day! Also, there are many other reasons to move to Seattle :).
I mean.. seriously.. think about how quickly you could get bags!!!!
Oh Katy, I wish I could! I actually have a cousin and a good friend that live there. I'm trying to convince my company to let me go to this conference in Seattle in May. If it happens, I will totally be coming to visit and of course, stock up! :) Maybe I should start trying to convince the BF we should move. *off to check out jobs* lol
Later afternoon meeting got cancelled :)
A bit of time here before heading out for fun.
Here are my loot.
Lots of colorful goodies - gazillions of Swift, Little Swift, MCB, SCB, shop bags, stuff sacks, a few other smaller accessories. I only get to keep one - MCB Cacao/Wasabi. The Cacao color does not show well online, but it IS gorgeous particularly with the wasabi lining.

Then, of course these:

My Panasonic GH2 with its 20 mm lens on board + the 14-140 mm lens + a Panasonic LX 5 looked ridiculously LOST inside the Camera I/O. Of course, I knew that. I intended this Camera I/O to go to another home, but now that I see it, it is tempting to keep it. What will I do with it if I kept it? Well:
1) I can keep all my personal stuff in half side of the bag - either at the bottom or on one side longitudinal :) - use the other half for my meager camera and accessories items. The inserts that came with the bag are ingeniously designed and will let me do this easily!
2) I can use it to carry 3 bottles of wine :)
My Gitzo 1541 Traveller tripod at a tad under 17.5" long (with a markins q3t folded inside the legs) sticks out of the smaller Quiver, but totally swallowed up in the larger Quiver. I VOTE for a Quiver in between these 2 sizes! For reference, when I pulled up the dyneema collar of the smaller quiver, it does not fold over my tripod. Inside the larger Quiver, the top of my tripod is just about the bottom of the folded-over dyneema collar.
P.S. My GH2 + LX5 live in a mini courierware inside my PCSB. I only have 2 lenses for my GH2 - the 20 mm and a the 14-140 mm. Either one is mounted on the camera. I put the lens inside the PCSB also (if I was planning on using it). I either put the PCSB in another bag (Synapse, Co-Pilot or Swift Cork) or carry it using a TB simple shoulder strap with the ultrasuede wrap. The rest of my camera accessories (batteries, charger, etc.) are in padded pouches that I put in a tall stuff sack. They swim in there, but I do not like tightly stuff bags and stuff sacks.

Off for fun with my LS Cacao Ultrasuede in tow!
Who gets all of that other stuff?
Almost got my day to day carry set up. Waiting for a Freudian Slip and then I will take some pictures.
@Walker, your friends are lucky. What great gifts!
