small packing cube as a lunch bag?

    hi there,

i found myself looking for a solution for carrying my lunch yesterday.

i would typically carry a sandwich and three pieces of fruit.

rather than carrying a separate bag, i'd like to be able to throw something into the bag that i'm carrying (currently the smart alec, but i switch periodically between that and the buzz - i may carry the ristretto if i'm carrying my macbook).

how do you think a small packing cube would work for this purpose? i love the dyneema fabric! would it be a little big, or do you think it would be okay?

    any other suggestions?

    thanks,
    -m

Is the Clear Quarter Packing Cube too small? Not sure how big the sandwich is and what kind of fruit.

Maybe a Western Flyer Small Packing Cube would be the perfect size.

    hi darcy,

i have the clear quarter packing cube that i use for my toiletries. i'll clean it out tomorrow and try carrying my lunch in it. the sandwich is made with regular whole wheat bread slices. fruits are usually 3 of apple, banana, orange, and pear.

    thanks!
