Brain cell inside a Packing Cube/Backpack?

Would a vertical Brain cell for a 14x10x1.5 notebook fit inside a packing cube/backpack? And would one want to put it in there?

I just want to carry a notebook inside the brain cell on my back and a big bag is too much for just that, but the packing cube/backpack does seem a little flimsy and I wonder how securely it would strap a loaded brain cell to my back.

    What do you think?

So, has anyone tried putting the vertical brain cell into the backpack cube?

I actually have an older model brain cell to which I've added my own backpack straps so I can carry it on my back whilst riding the bike. More accurately, the straps came from an unused camping backpack, and all I did was sew a "cage" out of webbing that holds the brain cell.

It works wonderfully but my worry is how waterproof this older brain cell is..

I'm sorry for the delay in an answer - it's been a busy past few weeks.

The answer is no. The only Brain Cells that will fit in the Packing Cube Backpack are the Size 5 and Size 7 Horizontal.

I'd definitely recommend putting the Brain Cell that you wear on your back inside of something. Maybe some kind of banded shower cap kind of thing. If you want some scrap fabric to play with and you don't care about color, email me and we'll send you some for the price of shipping.

Thanks for doing that for me, Darcy! The offering is appreciated as well. Making stuff on the sewing machine is fun and I wish I could drop in to see how the pro's do it, but I live north of the border and on the other coast. I only told you part of what I did to my braincell; I also sewed on 2 other smaller bags to the outside to hold my ac adapter and notepads. I was a challenge because I am only a novice sewer and because I knew that I did not want to sew into the braincell itself and weaken it, that I had to make a webbing cage around it for example.

As well, I bought one of those showercaps the day after I made my webbing thingy. Great minds think alike!

That's amazing: I'm still just at the very beginning of learning how to sew. I hope to make an apron soon. Glad you found a shower cap-type solution!
