Handed-ness with the Q-AM strap

I'm in need of a new messenger bag, as my old one is pretty much disintegrating on me.

The Super Ego has caught my eye, with the Q-AM strap, but I'm wondering how it would work for me, as a lefty. I almost always carry my bags cross-chest, with the strap on my right shoulder, bag on my left hip. I really like the way there's the extra connector to snug it up against a back, but would it still work carrying it that way?

It works fine. I have the Super Ego with the Q-AM strap, and I sometimes reverse the strap so it goes over my right shoulder. I'm right handed, and usually where the strap over my left shoulder.
