    Gigbag

I have a Trager Hipster and I know a few people who own an Eclipse bag from Tom Bihn. Fabulous quality, period. It even was worth the premium shipping price to bring it over here to god ol' Europe;-)

My suggestion: I'm also a guitarist and recently needed a new _good_quality_ gigbag (good protection, working zippers etc. pp). There aren't many of these left. A big pile of crappy bags! I originally intended to buy a softcase from goincase.com but it seems that they're out of production (and were MIC...).

It probably won't ever happen but a Tom Bihn designed guitar (acoustic/semiacoustic guitar) gigbag would be very cool to have!

    Tom Bihn Guitar Case

    Hi Mike,

Thanks for your post! I, too, wish that Tom would design instrument cases. At this time he has no plan to get into this line. He has a mile long list of other types of bags to design and maybe when he gets through that, he will find the inspiration to move on to guitar cases.

I would recommend a great company called Blue Heron Cases. They make beautiful, very protective, soft-sided guitar cases. I don't know if they ship overseas, but if they do, it would definitely be worth the cost. I've seen these cases in person and know people who use them and have had one on my own wish list for my Mandolin for about a year now (are you listening, Santa?).

If you are not already on our mailing list or subscribed to our RSS Feed for our newsletter, please consider signing up. We won't sell or share your email address with anyone and then you will be the first to know about any new Tom Bihn designs.

Thanks again and have a fabulous day!

Thumbs up I second that emotion

I, too, would love to have a Bihn gig bag for my guitars. The incase ones looked good, but seemed a little pricey to me. Most other gig bags are ergonomic nightmares or are just teh ugly.

Help us musicians out, Tom. Would you at least consider an accordion case? I know you love the accordion.
