Handles, shoulder straps, and backpack straps. With travel bags getting lighter, I think a new idea for carrying a lighter load is in order. For lack of a better name right now, the Waist Hook. It would be an industrial clip of some sort to attach your lightweight luggage to your shorts, pants, or belt. I haven't tried clipping on a 10 or 15 pound weight yet but it would seem to eliminate undue stress on someone's shoulder and back (and hand) using this method if it is viable. A long waist strap is cumbersome but an industrial waist clip might fit the bill for the lighter bags. Maybe it could be designed to hook over the shorts and be secure to the bags handle somehow. Would anyone else use this method of carry if it was available?
