Baby pouch

Why not make one of those nice baby-carrying pouches we see all around ? I'll be a father soon and I'm sure the baby wouldn't be too comfortable in my Brain Bag ;)

Tom is currently in an undisclosed location, so I'll try to answer this. When he comes back I'm sure he'll have something to add.

Right now, we have a ton of new products in development that are keeping Tom very busy. So products that haven't yet been a part of our product like, like baby products, might not be a priority (yet!)

Also, there might be a question of liability. xenicon had a good idea for a children's toy bag but we decided we probably couldn't make such a product because of the liability cost.

That said, maybe Tom could make a baby pouch that is so cool none of those other things matter. What do you think would make the best baby pouch ever?

Actually, I think that a stylish, techno and sexy baby pouch would make guys and gals wear them with even more pride. As for liability, Tom makes strong, reliable products that, I'm sure, would be safe. If you don't want to get sued (that's a bad habit Americans have...) just say it's officially a poodle carrier ;-)

You could also add a few front pockets on it to carry baby stuff (I'm not too good at this yet, the baby is only 5 weeks old in my sweeeet love's belly ;-))

Tom's the style specialist and designer anyway, he sure would know better than me how to design one. Babies are kind of "trendy" now in the US and Canada. Of course, the product would have to be aimed at the spending power of middle-class lefties, but it could work if you advertise it well on your site.

How to make a baby pouch that would be revolutionary, heh Darcy ? Well, new materials, added functionality over other products on the market. In order to do this, a market survey research could prove useful. You could even do it in-store...

Why not make a few prototype, sell them in your store first, get some comments back and then sell it on your web site if it's a success ?

All these are just ideas, I just like Tom Bihn products, philosophy and employees ;-)
