I noticed that the product listing for the Travel Money Belt mentions that bigger sizes can be made upon request. Is this also true for sizes smaller than the Extra Small (26"-28")? Or is there a...

I noticed that the product listing for the Travel Money Belt mentions that bigger sizes can be made upon request. Is this also true for sizes smaller than the Extra Small (26"-28")? Or is there a...
...I had some in my cart for me and a few holiday gifts and I was worried when I saw the backorder stars this morning. Thanks for the update...I'm relieved (to not need to find alternative gifts)...
Maybe that's what it is...I'll have to take a look when I get home tonight. I suppose that's biased both ways in the direction of more wear on older bags -- older and more snag-gable cord.
Thanks, Katy! Wow, an actual test of an actual light! Glad to hear that the seal looked watertight. Out of curiosity, did you leave the light on while underwater?
As for the salt water,...
This question is a bit of a shot-in-the-dark, but given that TB and many of its followers are located in Seattle, I thought I'd try. I'm looking into getting a few of the Guardian lights to use...
...very pretty, versatile, and luscious to carry and mold to one's body. Yes, please, on the black Ultrasuede LS!
I've noticed the same issue too -- the closure on some of my stuff sacks catches the cord pretty consistently, especially if I don't use the "cinch first, fasten second" technique that LiLin...
I imagine a Swift in Dyneema would be similar to a Shop Bag -- they're similar in their dimensions (Large Shop Bag and Swift, Small Shop Bag and Little Swift). So if you are willing to do without...
Hmm...my computer screen must be off too, because I seem to be seeing the colors the same way as Moose! I hope that doesn't mean that I'm not seeing Ultraviolet Dyneema the way it is IRL...
Katy,...
Yes, please share! Mine always falls off when I clip it on that way, especially when I go over a bump on my bike. On mine, there's not a lot of tension on the clip.
Looking forward to the pictures! After you give your new Dyneema Synapse a good test run, I, for one, would love it if you would you give us a compare & contrast with your Plum Synapse. ;)
I find that this method works best for me too (as a core, I use a small packing cube to hold underwear/socks) I found this page helpful: http://www.onebag.com/pack.html
There's a diagram you can...
I really like my Klean Kanteen Insulated vacuum thermos. I find that it if it is full and very hot when I fill it up, it stays hot for around 5 hours and warm for up to about 12. It has...
Thank you for sharing that, aiethabell -- I've gone back and forth on whether I should get an Aeronaut for times when the TriStar is too small, because (as a small person) I've been worried about the...
Thanks for the link, dorayme. Beech Creek Naturals does indeed do beautiful work. I think the Cherry nosty is especially pretty...and how neat that it was harvested from his parents' land. ...
@ MaggieScratch, Moose, and dorayme -- thanks for your input regarding your experience with the nostys! You had some precise measurements in there, so I hope it wasn't too inconvenient to dig out...
Neat! I've been knitting for ~7 years now (I know, I know, it's not THAT long) and I had never heard of a nostepinne. I've been balling by hand all this time (I don't have a ball winder) and have...
Aww...thanks for sharing. Here's to the small pleasures of organization! Hope you get well soon!
Oh, goody! I agree that this is a very nice purple -- cheery and saturated, but not screaming...you know what I mean? Looking forward to more offerings...
Have fun with it! For me it's been a good long-term hobby. I can see myself doing it decades from now, and (hopefully) improving. Keep us posted on your progress, and I'm sure many of us here...
Katy -- check out http://www.knittinghelp.com/
It's a great resource, with free instructional videos of all kinds of techniques, including the very basics. I find that it really helps to see how...
Thanks, JohnDel! I'll definitely take a look at those. I've had similar experiences with the ebags web site -- the images shown are thorough (i.e. show inside/outside/front/back), but aren't the...
I have a (large) Swift. For what it's worth, I was concerned about using it as a more than a knitting bag at first because I was worried that items would fall out if the bag was tipped over. I...
Thanks! I'd seen the Kit, of course, but hadn't thought of using it that way. Functional fixedness, I guess. You may have just "enabled" me, because I've admired those Kits for a while ;)
Also,...
I have definitely found this to be the case. I have a Swift in Cork (original design, so the cork fabric extends all the way to the bottom of the bag) and have yet to notice any mammalian fur/hair...
