Hooray, mine must have been in the bad US mail batch, but Darcy was awesome and re-sent one. It's here and it goes great with my other colors of pouch. Thank you!

I have an Ego in Crimson / Black / Steel. Mine has the back made of Cordura as well. I don't like that, as it picks up fuzz and lint really badly compared to the ballistic which makes the pocket.

What's the size difference between Cache-Netbook M and S? Only the M is listed right now.
Yep, unfortunately I travel the 17th so I will have to take mine on trip #2 this summer.
I use the padded organizer pouch as a camera bag. Fits my Powershot very nicely with room for a spare set of batteries and a card reader.
The Ego uses the toothed-slide system, whereas the Empire Builder uses the D-ring attachment points. So, the short answer is that whichever bag you're about to order, ask them if they'll include a...
There would be no way to get a hand in and into the phone / PDA pockets without you feeling something. The space left after the flap is fastened is too small. There isn't a gap on the side where it...
I couldn't take it any more :) Indigo/Solar Tri-Star and a slew of organizer pouches (and the new 3D Cube!) coming my way. That indigo is just too nice-looking...
Even a "no, we will never make these and you should superglue bent paperclips to the ends of the strap" would let me know that you have no plans to sell adapters like this ;) thanks
I put my horizontal Brain Cell through security both ways this weekend (and I have the one with metal snaps). Nothing in the pockets, but no one said anything about it. It popped right through the...
Are you planning on using a Brain Cell with it? If so, what size?
Still interested in these.
I have 3 bags: an Ego and a Large Café Bag, which have Absolute straps that attach via toothed slides, and a Brain Cell, which uses D-rings. Sometimes when I just need a laptop, I slide the Brain...
Thanks so much for mine! Already clipped inside my Ego and carrying goodies! :D
Ego here: (Seth K., I'm a student)
Main compartment:
4S Brain Cell with my Vostro 1400 (takes up a considerable amount of the space; it isn't small)
Large textbook
Small textbook or...
I never figured that out. I bought a bag about 2 weeks before Christmas last year, but never got the Cayenne organizer pouch everyone else did. It was sad because it would have gone great in the Ego...
Yeah, I've been using a lint roller. Will try dryer sheets to see if they work any better.
So I've had my Ego for about 3 months now, and it still is holding everything I need to. The one problem, however, seems to be the sleeve pocket / newspaper pocket on the back. Whereas the front of...
Hope you like it :)
Got you covered. I stuck a bunch of pictures on a page here:

You can click on the small thumbnails to see big pictures. Hope these help...
I use my Ego as my college bag, and happily stuff a Brain Cell, a couple textbooks, water bottle, power supply, iPod, lab notebook, extra battery, and miscellaneous bits and pieces. Still room left...
If you are looking at Inspiron 1420s, consider the Vostro 1400 as well. They're usually cheaper and they come with Dell's business-class support, which is far superior. Same chassis, but it's all...
I guess I ordered too late in December to get in on the goodies this year :( oh well, maybe next year.
Just a good old ruler, I'd think... unless that lacks panache. Failing that a 500mL water bottle is pretty universal.
Not sure if you just forgot to change it from an old template, but shouldn't Brain Cells be $60 now (on the Western Flyer page you can add one for $50)?
