As promised, I posted an updated packing list in a new thread.
I mentioned in an old thread of mine that I would post an updated packing list. It's amazing how much progess I've made in the last two years. I leave in a few hours for a 17 day trip, traveling all...

Without a doubt. Want some beans? I can send some up.
Be sure to order some beans from my favorite Portland roaster, Sterling Coffee Roasters. Their stuff is unbelievable - Sterling Coffee Roasters
I bet the inside of that bag smells amazing. Nice repurposing!

I'd like to throw my initial review into the ring while the Camera I/O is still brand spanking new and while people may be deciding if it's the right fit for them. I hope I...
About 3 weeks ago I was in Bob Hope Airport in LA, having just left security and walking to my gate when a guy ran up to me and wanted to ask about my Brain Bag and Tri-Star. He had a Super Ego and...
I have both bags and they serve wonderfully in two different scenarios. The Aeronaut is for my long hauls - trips of 2-3 weeks or more. I stuff that poor thing to the absolute max capacity and it...
Thank you so much! I went up for 3 days with the band I regularly tour with. We did 3 shows, experienced -26 degrees, ate reindeer, used the ice scraper on the inside of the car, and more. There's...
You are correct! I made her an honest woman and myself a happy man. /clichebuttrue

Ahahaha this pack is SO outdated. I'm sure all of you know that packing is an art that requires constant honing. I'll try to get something new up soon. I've got a 2-week trip in April. Maybe then.
Just wanted to say thank you to all that replied. I ordered two of the above for the wife and I, as they seem well made and sturdy. Hopefully I can get some pictures once they arrive and I get a...
I bought my first pair of glasses today! Step 1 is wearing them. Step 2 is figuring out how not to destroy them. Does anyone have any recommendations for good travel cases for eyeglasses? Ideally,...

Let me just say that you all are terrible for my bank account. i just caved in and bought the Brain Bag (Steel) and an iPad Cache.
YES. This is exactly the info I needed. In which direction(s) does the Packing Cube have wiggle room? If the width of the compartment is 5" I think I may have found a suitable camera insert.
Thanks for the replies, friends. I think my biggest concern is if that insert I linked to would fit into the bottom of the front pocket. If that works out I'll be golden.
