Hmm, I bet the Aeropress, grinder, and a vacuum canister of beans would fit nicely inside a Co-Pilot.
I bring an Aeropress and a grinder with me on tour. Makes life a little more bearable!
I have both now as well. It's my 3rd Tom Bihn bag.
I just used an Aeronaut and an Empire Builder for a 5-week North American tour. The Aeronaut held the typical stuff (clothes, toiletries, coffee...
I don't have either the Ego or SuperEgo, but for reference I have now flown with both my Aeronaut (carry-on) and Empire Builder (personal item) on 11 AA flights, and 1 Alaska flight this year: 777s,...
Following up, I received my Western Flyer a few days ago (the rear-pocket model), but after a couple of hours of test-packing, I decided to stick with my Empire Builder after all -- structure of the...
Yeah, I had considered a Freudian Slip. I'm going to try going without and see if I go crazy without it.
Right now I'm tour manager/front-of-house for the bands Superchunk and Destroyer.
I work for rock and roll bands, so a lack of professionalism isn't a bad thing.
Thanks everyone!
I switched to a safety razor because of the cost savings and nicer shave, but after bad experiences with Wilkinson and other European drug-store blades (after having to leave my blades at the TSA...
Just curious: is anyone here using the Western Flyer as a briefcase?
When I'm traveling for work, I carry a MacBook Air 11" (in a Cache), a portable Canon printer, their related...
A friend took me to Sir John Soane's museum, which I found pretty fascinating.
Their web site is http://www.soane.org/
If you go to Brick Lane for curry, I'd avoid any shop with a salesman out...
I've stopped bringing my safety razor and anything else "borderline" (multi-tools, small knives, etc) for that matter. The rules are applied so inconsistently, and you'll never win an argument with a...
Very nice bike, gonty. I have a similar setup with an older Univega MetroPrix.
Thanks! It's yellow cotton bar tape with amber shellac. Used to be wrapped in twine, but that fell off a while ago.
Hi everyone. I went out for a nice bike ride this morning (it's 52 deg F and sunny here in North Texas) and took along my small clear organizer pouch to hold my house key, knife, binder clip...
I bought both the Air Boss and the Aeronaut at the same time because I couldn't decide. When they arrived, I did a test pack and ended up selling the Air Boss to a friend.
The Air Boss seems best...
Same here. I bought an iPad last summer and while I loved it, there are certain things I need to do all the time (making PDFs, printing/editing Excel and Word docs with proper formatting) that were...
I'm a (rock band) tour manager and sound engineer, and I bought the 11" to reduce my load while on tour. The weight and size are perfect for touring.
I do Excel/Word, Quickbooks, other office-y...
